We remodel homes across Baton Rouge and St. George, and take projects in Prairieville, Denham Springs and Walker. A local showroom and a local crew means we're never far from your project.
Where we work
Lacoste & Young works out of our showroom at 6435 Siegen Lane, and we keep our work within a short drive of it. That's on purpose. When the crew is local, small questions get answered in person, inspections and deliveries don't wait on a long commute, and we're nearby long after the job is done.
Baton Rouge is a city of houses built in the 1970s and 1980s, the two largest decades of homebuilding in East Baton Rouge Parish. Those houses have good bones, mature trees and the original bathrooms and closed kitchens that come with their era. Remodeling Baton Rouge's 1970s and '80s homes is the heart of what we do.
St. George, incorporated as its own city in 2024, brings together communities including Shenandoah, Old Jefferson, Inniswold, Oak Hills Place and Village St. George. It's a family-centered city where kitchen remodels, primary suites and additions make a growing household fit the home it already loves.
St. George
St. George became its own city in 2024, bringing together communities including Shenandoah, Old Jefferson, Inniswold, Oak Hills Place, Village St. George and Westminster. It's the fifth-largest city in Louisiana. Our Siegen Lane showroom sits just minutes from Village St. George and Inniswold, so a St. George remodel never waits on a long drive.
The housing here runs from mid-century brick ranches in Village St. George to subdivisions built in the 1990s and 2000s. Older homes tend to need the original bathroom and the closed kitchen opened up; newer ones tend to need more room for a growing family. We take on both.
For homeowners in St. George, that means bathroom remodeling from a tub-to-shower conversion to a full master bath, kitchen remodeling with new layouts and cabinetry, whole-home renovations, home additions and covered patios, and rebuilding after storm and water damage.
Inside the City of Baton Rouge, we work in established neighborhoods like Broadmoor and Kenilworth, where many of the houses are decades old, with good bones and original rooms that are ready for a change. A Baton Rouge bathroom or kitchen remodel in an older home is the kind of project we know best.
Neighborhoods
A few of the communities where you'll find our work.

Broadmoor is one of Baton Rouge's established neighborhoods of 1950s and '60s brick ranches. Bathrooms original to these homes are some of the most satisfying transformations we do.

We take kitchen, bathroom and whole-home projects throughout Kenilworth and the south Baton Rouge neighborhoods around it, a short drive from our Siegen Lane showroom.

Much of Village St. George was built between the mid-1950s and late 1960s. Opening up closed kitchens and replacing original baths are the projects these houses are ready for.

Family homes in Shenandoah often need more room as kids grow, and a kitchen remodel, a primary suite update or an addition is how many families make it.

From hall bathrooms to full kitchen renovations, we work across Old Jefferson and the neighborhoods off Jefferson Highway.

In Inniswold, tub-to-shower conversions, kitchen updates and whole-house renovations help older homes fit the families living in them now.

We remodel kitchens and bathrooms and build additions and covered patios for homeowners throughout Oak Hills Place.

The August 2016 flood damaged tens of thousands of homes across the parish, and water remains part of life here: hurricane season, flash flooding and the occasional hard freeze. Many of our projects begin with a leak, a storm or an insurance claim.
That's why we work directly with insurance adjusters on storm and water damage jobs and rebuild with materials suited to a humid climate. Learn more on our storm and water damage remodeling page.

Lacoste & Young recently completed a renovation of our primary bathroom. The project took roughly eight weeks to complete and my wife and I are absolutely thrilled with the way it turned out — well beyond our expectations. The bathroom was original to our 1960s era home in Broadmoor and hadn't been updated in all of the 30-plus years we've lived in it. What had been a rather drab, unexciting, functional room is now a really spectacular bath, that we're really pleased with.
Lacoste and Young just finished a whole bathroom remodel. They did a fantastic job. Very detailed oriented and delivered exactly what I expected. No down time on the job and the workmanship was stellar. Barbara Carey, Baton Rouge 2026

It's refreshing to find a company that does things the right way the first time. Easily 5 stars simply because there aren't more stars to give.
